Girls Against Anxiety is here to support you within your worries and anxieties in a relaxed way. We are creating spaces where cis and trans women, girls and non-binary people who are comfortable in a space that centres the experiences of women. to feel open to naturally talk about what they are going through and get creative while doing so.

What we believe

  • listen

    Being able to just listen to someone and validate what they are going through, gives people the space to feel understood and heard.

  • peer-led

    We’re Peer-led which means our groups are facilitated by people who are the same age bracket and have experienced mental health struggles. More than half of our team are apart of the LGBTQIA+ community - making us strive to be good allies for our peers.

  • create

    An important part of our groups is that we get creative, this enables our groups to feel more relaxed when talking to each other and gives our members the opportunity to create something they can feel proud of.
